You can grind them quickly in a coffee grinder. Or you can buy pre-ground flax, but…
pre ground flax loses many of its good qualities within a couple of weeks.
The good fats go rancid, for example.
So if you want to grind flax, keep it sealed in the fridge for up to two weeks or in the freezer for up to 6 months.


What’s the difference between golden and brown flax seeds?
Manufacturers used to tell us that the golden seeds were more of a super food compared to brown seeds. We now know this to not be true. golden and brown flax seeds are nutritionally equal!
